Our Food Bank ministry continues!

posted Aug 8, 2019, 9:35 AM by Wayne Sollows

With the closure of the Salvation Army in Pembroke, the congregation has begun giving our monthly donations (collected the THIRD Sunday of EVERY month) to St. Joseph's Food Bank.  Bring along non-perishable food items and deposit them in the receptacle just inside the front doors. We can continue to make a difference in the lives of those who need an occasional hand up.

Saying Goodbye to long time member

Life is a journey we share with each other, but every journey is different.  We say goodbye to a longtime and faithful member, servant and friend in the Lord as he prepares to move to Northern Ontario.  He will be missed, but he will be remembered in prayer and of course, he will return to visit whenever he's down this way.  God Bless Him;  we pray God will send a new friend into our midst - maybe you'll be the answer to that prayer?
