Happy Thanksgiving

Come and worship the Living God and count your blessings this Thanksgiving Sunday.  More that a meal and gathering with family, Thanksgiving should be a state of mind and living.  A relationship with God, through His son, Jesus, is a great way to start - why not "turn over a new leaf" this season?  Join Us - and bring a friend, too.

Fall Bible Study begins in October

Join together with other folks as we study Paul's Letter to the Colossian church.  At that time, they were facing some of the same challenges that we face in our society and culture today.  Why don't you come and...bring a friend, too.

With the closure of the Salvation Army in Pembroke, the congregation has begun giving our monthly donations (collected the THIRD Sunday of EVERY month) to St. Joseph's Food Bank.  Bring along non-perishable food items and deposit them in the receptacle just inside the front doors. We can continue to make a difference in the lives of those who need an occasional hand up.

Saying Goodbye to long time member

Life is a journey we share with each other, but every journey is different.  We say goodbye to a longtime and faithful member, servant and friend in the Lord as he prepares to move to Northern Ontario.  He will be missed, but he will be remembered in prayer and of course, he will return to visit whenever he's down this way.  God Bless Him;  we pray God will send a new friend into our midst - maybe you'll be the answer to that prayer?

Another successful, sunny (and hot!) Community BBQ!  Notice how people were trying to stay in the shade by sitting along the fence line?  Everyone left happy and well feed; praise be to God for all our blessings!
